CHICAGO, Ill., June 15, 2022 – Peapod Digital Labs, the digital and commercial hub for the companies of Ahold Delhaize USA, is proud to announce that eight of its employees have received prestigious national awards for female leadership and innovation in grocery retail.

For nearly 20 years, The Shelby Report has recognized female trendsetters of the food industry with its "Women of Influence" awards. This year, five PDL employees were awarded this distinguished honor:

• Libby Couch-Askew, Private Brands Category Development Manager 
• Carina Machain, Brand Communications Manager 
• Jennifer Merriman, Sourcing Director 
• Sarah Dudan, Human Resources Business Partner (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Award) 
• Kate Weaver, Supplier Diversity Manager (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Award)

Progressive Grocer launched its Top Women in Grocery award program over a decade ago to recognize and celebrate the contributions of women at all levels of the grocery industry. This year, three PDL employees joined the ranks of Top Women in Grocery:

• Raina Rusnak, Consumer Insights Director 
• Caryn Scaduto, Digital Production Manager
