Check Out These Black-Owned Suppliers This Month!

During Black History Month, Peapod Digital Labs, the e-commerce engine of the brands of Ahold Delhaize USA, is pleased to highlight several certified, Black-owned product brands and suppliers that partner with our Great Local Brands.

From packaged goods to store and business services, Peapod Digital Labs honors its commitment to supporting and uplifting minority-owned businesses by partnering with the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), which plays a crucial role in advancing procurement opportunities between diverse-owned businesses and corporations. Whether supporting a small minority-owned organization or a billion-dollar enterprise, NMSDC is committed to helping solve the growing need for supplier diversity.

“As a company whose Great Local Brands reach a broad array of shoppers, both in-person and online, we want to feature products and services from Black-owned companies and ensure that our shelves—and company, overall—represent the diverse communities in which we operate.” said Kate Weaver, Manager, Supplier Diversity of Peapod Digital Labs. “While Black History Month is an appropriate time to highlight these Black-owned suppliers, their excellent products and services are worthy of attention all year long, and we are very proud to have their products in our stores.”
